Hibbing Police, Fire Respond to Self-Inflicted Fire Incident
On April 9, 2026, at approximately 3:35 PM, Hibbing Police Department Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Mesabi Drive for the report of female that was threatening to light herself on fire. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female inside the garage on fire. Officers quickly extinguished the fire and provided medical attention.
