Explosion on Red Lake

Authorities on the Red Lake Indian Reservation are investigating an explosion that destroyed a home and damaged others.  The Red Lake Police Department says one person was inside the house Friday and the injured resident was taken to the hospital in stable condition.  The American Red Cross is assisting affected families.  No word yet on what caused the explosion.  Officials say the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have been notified.
