Star Gazing Events Coming Up

The Grand Rapids Area Library is hosting a Star Party on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 3:30 p.m. The City of Cohasset is hosting a nighttime star and moon gazing

party on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 8:00 p.m. in the Blackwater Environmental Area which is the boat landing at Blackwater Road. Both events are free and open to public. The library will be doing indoor moon activities for all ages. At Cohasset equipment will be available for better viewing for participants. No registration is needed to attend either event. During the event participants will have the opportunity to learn more about star gazing and astronomy in general.
