Smart North shares with GRACC Members

The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce held a luncheon that featured Smart North as the keynote speaker. Smart North is a Minnesota based, 501 C(3) organization with a mission to promote digital equity and improve the quality of life in the state. The organization has been working with the communities of Deer River and Grand Rapids since 2021, were it has established smart streets technology, and community tech hubs that offer a variety of services such as youth-led tech support, workforce training, services for adults, along with creating a tech talent pipeline. Their goal is to equalize opportunities and address the digital divide. Youth who are a part of Tech Hub learn so many things like drone operation, 3D printing, music creation and so much more.
