Search Warrant Issued in Floodwood Deadly Crash

A search warrant has been issued to authorities in regards to the deadly crash that occurred just outside of Floodwood last week. On Thursday August 15th just south of Floodwood 5 vehicles were involved in a deadly accident that left 2 kids 9 years old and 2 adults dead. According to court documents a witness saw the semi swerving and driving erratically miles before the crash site, leading to new questions of whether that driver was intoxicated. State Patrol said the driver was groggy and did not remember the crash. A blood sample was taken but no charges have been filed at this time. This case is currently ongoing.
