Election Primary Day in Minnesota
Today is Primary Election Day today. Voters will determine final matchups for the Nov. 5 general election in races for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Minnesota House of Representatives, a Minnesota Senate special election and various local offices. Poll locations opened at 7 in the morning today and will be open till 8 in the evening today. Final results will start coming in around 9 or later tonight. GRPD Respond to Domestic Call
On August 10th around 1 in the morning the Grand Rapids Police Department was dispatched to the Itasca County Fairgrounds regarding a domestic complaint. According to Itasca County Communications a male and female got into an argument and dispatch advised the female wants the male party gone and will be waiting at the entrance for law enforcement. The reporting party met with police at the entrance to the campground at Itasca County Fairgrounds. Police spoke with both parties and came to an agreement on separating at that time. The call was cleared with out further incident.
