
Fieldstone Group announced last week that it has finalized the purchase of WDAY Radio from Forum Communications. The sale provision is part of a five-year management agreement that was signed by the two parties in November of 2020. The purchase includes the AM/FM Radio Station, its online properties, social media accounts, and transmitter/tower site. The station will be operated as part of the company’s Fargo broadcast operations. The sale is subject to Federal Communications Commission approval. The transaction gives the company a second broadcast property in the Metro area, as well as joining Rapids Radio in Grand Rapids.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue reminds the state’s military service members to take advantage of a refundable military tax credit before it expires. The 2020 Credit for Military Service in a Combat Zone will expire October 15, 2024, for qualifying service members. More than 2,680 service members were eligible for the 2020 Form M99, Credit for Service in a Military Combat Zone, but 628 service members still have not claimed it. The credit is $120 per month or partial month served. To qualify for the credit, service members must have: Been a Minnesota resident during the time of service, Served in a combat zone or qualified hazardous duty area during 2020, Received combat pay that is exempt from federal and Minnesota income tax. Living Well With Diabetes is intended for people who live with diabetes and wish to improve their health and sense of well-being. An in-person class is being held on Thursdays, October 17th - November 21st from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the Central Square Mall.
