The Itasca County Board of Commissioners met for their regular scheduled board meeting yesterday Tuesday September 24th at the Itasca County Courthouse Boardroom. Commissioner John Johnson called the meeting to order at 230. All 4 Commissioners were present at the meeting. No changes were made to the present agenda which was motioned and approved. The minutes from last meeting which took place on Tuesday September 17th were motioned and approved by the board. The consent agenda was read as written and was motioned and approved by the board. No citizen input was presented at this meeting. County Based Purchasing focusing on IMCARE held a presentation to the board that featured quarter 1 and 2 information which was accepted by the board. Commissioner Johnson went over all of Former Commissioner Ives’s committee responsibilities and asked for the commissioners to take them on as their own. Only 4 committees at this time were found to be of the utmost importance due to the circumstances. All of the commissioners added a new committee to their responsibilities. To conclude the meeting the Itasca County Auditor and Treasurer Office presented the proposed 2025 tax Levy. A December 10th public meeting has been arranged for members of Itasca County to come and speak about the proposed levy agreement. Meeting was then adjourned.
