Search Warrant in Hibbing

Shortly after noon, on October 29th, 2025, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Hibbing Police Department, US Border Patrol, Drug Enforcement Administration, Internal Revenue Service, Enforcement Removal Operations and Homeland Security Investigations executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1800 block of 3^rd Avenue East Hibbing. The search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force.

In September 2025, an undercover investigator purchased cocaine from an individual who lived and worked at this location. This led to the search warrant being executed on October 29, 2025.

During the execution of the search warrant, an individual was arrested and lodged at the St. Louis County Jail in Hibbing. The individual was arrested for 3^rd degree sale of cocaine and possession of a firearm by an ineligible person. The individual was also found in possession of several fake identification documents.

The Sheriff’s Office says that the federal investigation is independent of this case.
