Duluth Police officers are investigating a crash at the intersection of Rice Lake Road and Arrowhead Road that happened early in the morning hours yesterday. According to the Duluth Police Department, one person has died from injuries. Authorities also say that they responded to the report of a vehicle accident involving an SUV and a motorcycle at the intersection of West Arrowhead Road and Rice Lake Road in Duluth. The deceased was the driver of the motorcycle, who was wearing a helmet. The crash resulted in a second collision with two other vehicles stopped at the traffic light. No other injuries were reported. According to Duluth Police say there were no signs of impairment by any of the individuals involved. The crash remains under investigation and the Minnesota State Patrol is assisting. The identities of those involved have not been released. The public is being asked by Duluth Police to avoid the intersection as investigations are still underway.
