Domestic Stabbing in Duluth

A 19 year old Duluth woman named Nyeima LeeRose Saice has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of domestic violence after allegedly stabbing her sister in the neck.  Duluth police officers responded to a call Monday afternoon to find the female victim bleeding from her neck, she was transported to Essentia Health for her injuries.  The sister’s mother and owner of the residence told officers that the pair had been fighting and she “heard a physical altercation occurring in the bedroom in the basement”.   When the mother went down to the basement, she observed a second victim, a male, trying to pull Saice off of her sister.  The suspect then left the scene, returning a short time later to make a statement for law enforcement.  A hearing has been scheduled for April 29th.
