2 Juvenile Boys injured in Hibbing

According to the Hibbing Police Department, around 2 in the morning yesterday, HPD officers were dispatched to Bennett Park for the sound of multiple gunshots. Officers arrived on scene and found a juvenile boy with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to the Hibbing hospital and was later transported to a hospital in Duluth. During that time, officers found a second juvenile with stab wounds. The second juvenile was taken to the Hibbing hospital and

was later released. He is currently in custody at the Arrowhead Juvenile Center in Duluth. Police are indicating that both people involved know each other. Names have not been released at this time, or what led up to the incident. This case is still under investigation and charges are expected to be filed at a later time.
