1 Dead Following Domestic Incident

Authorities in northern Minnesota say one person is dead and another is in custody after a domestic incident near Bemidji in Beltrami County. Deputies and Leech Lake police found the victim unresponsive and not breathing on Saturday. The victim was taken to the hospital and died of their injuries. The second person was arrested pending criminal charges. The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the victim and cause of death.
