Winter Caravan Returns to Grand Rapids

The Minnesota Twins will be making its annual stop as part of the 53rd annual Winter Caravan on Thursday, January 24 at the Sawmill Inn in Grand Rapids. Minnesota Twins players Brian Duensing, Chris Parmalee along with Minnesota Twins Radio Network's Dan Gladden and new Minnesota Twins hitting coach Tom Brunansky will be on hand for the Grand Rapids stop. Doors open for the event at 5:30 and dinner is served at 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person and are available at the Sawmill InnPaul Bunyan Communications, or KOZY/KMFY.

The Minnesota Twins' 53rd annual Winter Caravan features stops in nearly 50 communities throughout Twins Territory between Monday, Jan. 14 and Thursday, Jan. 24. The Twins Winter Caravan is one of the longest running and most extensive off-season team caravans in professional sports. It features teams of current and former players visiting schools, hospitals, corporations and service clubs during the day with a traditional "hot stove" program each evening.
