The Morning Mess
The KOZY morning show, also known as the Morning Mess, begins with Tim and Sheldon at 6 AM. Local news is just after 7. The Morning Mess is the only radio show on earth to cram 4 hours and 17 minutes worth of stuff into 3 hours. ABC News, local news, statewide and local sports from Sheldon, plus MNN news, Guides Corner with Tom Neustrom, and more and more and more fill the time until the morning is bursting at the seams. Tim & Sheldon cover the news mainstream media always seems to miss. At 7:35, brace yourself for “Anything Goes Trivia,” which is your chance to win a copy of “The Other Side of the Morning Mess- Famous B Sides” CD, with more songs then ever! There’s ABC Sports and Healthwatch, and of course the official Morning Mess Calendar too – so you know all the important things for the day….like the debut of the Edsel, the introduction of Mr. Potato Head, “Check the Hemline on your Fender Skirts Day,” and important celebrity birthdays, like that of the inventor of the Etch-A-Sketch – and so much more! Watch out for silly bogus commercials, topical songs, and of course every Friday at 7:40 it’s the “Weird Record of the Week.” It could be topical, a classic zany record, or something unheard of before, but whatever it is, Tim will drag it out of the Record Attic and give it a spin. There’s more nutty news after 8. Then stick around for Today’s Topic, a live local interview, at 8:35. The Morning Mess is unpredictable, spontaneous, live radio-so come along for the ride!
