The USDA Forest Service, North Central Research Station in Grand Rapids has released weather statistics for November 2013.

The average high for the month was 33.9 degrees and the average low was 17.2 with an overall average temperature of 25.6 degrees. The 49 degree temperatures on the 3rd & the 20th were the months highest and the four below temperatures on the 23rd & 24th were the months lowest.

The warmest November on record was in 2001 with an average temperature of 39 degrees. The coldest was in 1959 with an average temperature of 17.9 degrees.

We received 7.18 inches of precipitation last month.

We are 1.6 degrees below the 30 year daily average temperature and 2.98 inches below the 30 year average rainfall for the period January through November.
