I was born December 18th 1954 in Cheverly, Maryland. I enlisted in the Air Force in 1973 shortly after high school and married my wife Renee (Trunt) in 1976. We have 6 kids ranging from 26 to 10 years old, one born in Maryland, two in Kansas, two in Japan and one right here in Grand Rapids, all home birthed. I even delivered one myself!

My family and I have spent 20 years traveling all over the world for the Air Force. We settled here in Grand Rapids in 1993 because it reminded me of my little hometown on the east coast halfway between Baltimore and Washington.

I have worked in computers, hospitality, often attended college and have performed on stage for the Grand Rapids Players. I'm an avid reader, amateur astronomer and somewhat of a computer geek. Reading, writing, computers and my family fill my time.
