The record high temperature for January was 51 degrees above zero recorded in 1942, 1973 & 1981 and the record low temperature was -51 recorded in 1927.
The warmest January on record was in 2006 with an average temperature of 24.5 degrees. The coldest was in 1929 with an average temperature of -8.0 degrees.
