A Grand Rapids teen was sentenced Wednesday to one year and one day in prison for a Fourth of July high speed chase. Eighteen year old Grant Gunderson pleaded guilty to Fleeing a Peace Officer and Fourth Degree Driving While Impaired. His prison sentence was stayed on the condition that he not violate his probation or commit a new crime. Gunderson was placed on Extended Juvenile Jurisdiction until he is 21 years old. He must also write a letter of apology, complete 71 hours of community service and pay for any placement costs
