Bovey Farmers Day & Centennial Celebration

Bovey Farmers Day 2004 and the Bovey Centennial Celebration are behind us. It was a great weekend for participants, residents and visitors alike. Great crowds on hand for all events made the event a great success. Hats off to all those involved in organizing the event, and thanks to everyone who participated. Here's a sampling of photos from the weekends fun!

The whole idea of Farmers Day started with a celebration for Farmers! Many folks with a green thumb brought the fruits (or vegetables) of their labor for judging and display. Nice variety here! Zucchini everywhere!

What's a celebration without plenty of food stands! These 2 girls were heading for the Carnival looking for the booth with the handcuffs. Seems some boys locked them together and ran off with the key! Plenty of live entertainment throughout the weekend.
