After 2016, just 6.7 miles of highway will be all that will stand between finishing the Cross Range Expressway. That six miles of road that pass near Marble, through Calumet, Snowball Lake, and Penguilly, are expected to cost anywhere between $80,000 and $120,000.
Senator Anzelc said if the project is done “on the cheap”, by just creating a four lane highway, without the safety element of realignment, it would be doing a disservice.
