From the Grand Rapids Police Department:

Thursday, a small boxer with a collar was found and transported to the pound.
A number of minor accidents were reported over the weekend.
A yellow lab was found in Cohasset and transported to the pound.
Friday, a jar of change was reported stolen from a home on 14th avenue
A dog at large citation was issued to a resident on nw 3rd avenue
A burglary was reported from NE 5th street. Someone broke a window on a door leading from the garage to the home. A US Treasury Mint coin book, a tv, some jewelry, and some 1920’s Matchbox toy cars were taken.
A woman was cited for 5th degree assault after a driver stopped on the road in front of her. The pedestrian walked to the driver’s side door, opened it and hit the driver numerous times. The pedestrian was cited.
Saturday, a woman and her dog were walking on a trail north of the fairgrounds when her dog was attacked by a dog being walked without a leash. The male owner walked away. Vet bills are estimated at $300.
Sunday afternoon, a call was received about two naked residents, parking at a boat landing. The two were questioned about drug and admitted having a small amount of marijuana on them, as well as pipes used to smoke meth. Both were expected to receive citations.
A purse was reported lost at Aldi’s.
Sunday evening, a report of a fire near the Showboat landing. A resident was burning and the fire got out of the fire ring. The resident was able to get the garden hose on the flame.
