In 2016, the City of Cohasset accepted a bid for bituminous paving for Industrial Park Phase Two. Tuesday, the city council, on a four to one vote, agreed to pay a change order to cover most of the final bill. After the initial bid, but before the work could be completed, the Superior Refinery fire happened. The price of bituminous rose dramatically. After nearly 10 minutes, a council member finally made the motion to pay the balance. Council member Terry Bartz was the dissenting vote.
