A 46 year old Saginaw man and his dog were found dead in their cabin Saturday afternoon. The preliminary cause of death, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, is carbon monoxide poisoning. Stanley Skare had a generator running inside the cabin.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s office has responded to multiple carbon monoxide deaths in recent years. They urge citizens using generators to be sure they are placed a safe distance from living and sleeping areas.
