At Monday’s school board meeting, the board received a final design/development report of the upcoming elementary facilities. The board will now move forward with their construction document phase and authorize bidding. The board also approved a new program for young adults ages 18-21 called the “Quest Transition Program”. This is for students who are not ready to yet enter the adult workforce and could use further support and teaching. According to Brent Brunetta, “it is a great opportunity sitting right in front of us, for us to capitalize on and meet the needs of our learners”. The board entered into a 2 1/2 year lease agreement with MDI for space for the program. David Moody reporting.
